What Is Up With This World?

This is a crazy world, however we must still navigate through it, while trying to remain sane - as sane as one can reasonably be expected to be. Consider my blog to be a rant to this world; it may point out the negative things taking place, but I promise to always try to put a positive spin on it, however difficult that may be. FILE UNDER: Who Cares?

The major news agencies are reporting this morning that Chris Brown apologized for his role in the Rihanna assault incident. OK, now what? Will he begin behaving like an adult? A civil adult? I seriously doubt it.

Why should anyone care? This is just another version of Celebrities Gone Wild. Most of them are used to manipulating the system for personal gain. Once again, the fact that someone is rich and famous has blurred the lines of the criminal justice system. If this were a regular joe off of the street, he would be under the jail right now.
